Rollin' stone Clyde Stacy was born in Oklahoma and rocked through Arizona and Texas before returning to Tulsa in his late teens, where his musical training had more than readied him for the birth of rock 'n' roll.
Clyde's first recordings were cut in Tulsa in 1957 with his own group, the Nitecaps, before he went to record in New York with the city's finest session musicians, covering classics by Little Willie Littlefield, Johnny Horton and Bobby Lee Trammell.
